The PAUL RICARD circuit in the french region of Var hosted the European Championship F3 FIA opening for this season the 2nd and 3rd April.
This opening round, the first of ten in this championship, will not be the only french event because the protagonists of the championship will be meeting in the streets of Pau, in the south of France, on the week-end of Pentecost.
Anthoine has been able to meet his new team before the event in the Var region : Van Amersfoort Racing and their Dallara, during the 2 days of official tests on the Vallelunga track in Italy, and then during the 4 days in Spain on the circuits of Barcelona and Jerez.
On Thursday 31st March, we will be in the heart of this new season, as the collective tests on the PAUL RICARD track will be able to show who we're up against.
Anthoine is eagerly looking forward to this first confrontation in a competitive Championship that will hardly make 2016 an exception to what we're used to, and offer some challenging races.
In Anthoine's word : "I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and most of all to start the championship. We have worked hard during the 6 days of tests and it will be interesting to see where we stand against our oponents. It's fun that the championship starts in France on a track that I know well and where I've already won in F4".
