For the 9th and penultimate event of the season, the F3 European Championship drivers will meet this week end on the italian circuit of IMOLA.
Situated 30km East of Bologna, this circuit was built in 1950. Its first name was that of the neighbouring river : the Santano circuit. In the 70s it became the IMOLA circuit, and then the Autodromo Dino FERRARI. In the 80s Formula 1 left MONZA to come to IMOLA. However after the tragic events of 1994 the circuit is modified and looses its fast attributes.
At the end of the 8th event in Germany at NURBURGRING, Anthoine now occupies the 7th place in the overall ranking and second place in the rookie ranking. This championship is particularly interesting, because there are technically 6 candidates that can still make best rookie. We will have to watch the sweede ERIKSSON careful, who is the actual leader. He is just in front of Anthoine in the provisional ranking, and he must not be allowed to increase his lead before the last event in Germany mid October.
